The Global Engineering Team at TelevisaUnivision is looking for a Project Engineer to join our team!

The Project Engineer is responsible for, but not limited to, the installation and configuration, of production, distribution, infrastructure, and transmission equipment. This work will encompass on-premise, cloud, and hybrid solutions.

You will to the Director, Engineering Project Management.

ABOUT YOU:

You are an engineer that has design and installation experience with production and distribution systems. You have experience working with audio, video, data, cloud, RF, and other technologies. You have the ability to prioritize and address multiple tasks and projects in a dynamic work environment. You are able to work independently and with other members of a team.

YOUR DAY-DAY:

• Oversees the installation, integration, and configuration of hardware and software for production and distribution systems.
• Designs, installs, and troubleshoots issues on broadcast systems equipment, including but not limited to: baseband, infrastructure, RF, and other support equipment.
• Has experience and ability to design, deploy, configure, and troubleshoot software and Cloud projects/environments. Google Cloud Platform (GCP) experience preferred.
• Compiles engineering documentation and training materials pertaining to the various newly installed systems. Trains the Engineering team members on newly installed equipment and platforms.
• Provides input and recommendation on equipment and software purchases.
• Oversees vendors and third parties for system integrations (on-premise, cloud, or hybrid), commissioning, troubleshooting, and acceptance.
• Creates inventory of new equipment & software installed.
• Completes project status s with details regarding tasks performed while managing against timelines and deadlines. Identifies risks, issues and solutions to problems. Follows up on any open items.
• Univision is a 24×7 media company. Work periods include day, night, weekends, and holidays. Overseeing critical work during overnight maintenance windows may be necessary.
