University Radiology Hiring for Medical Scribe at New Brunswick, NJ Full Time

University Radiology, the largest provider of subspecialty radiology and teleradiology services in NJ, is comprised of over 180 Board Certified radiologists with advanced U.S.-based training and expertise in all modalities and all subspecialty areas. In operation for more than 60 years, University Radiology staffs, manages and provides preliminary and final subspecialty interpretations and consultative support for hospitals, imaging centers and other medical facilities, and serves as the academic radiology faculty at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Our physicians interpret over 2.1 million radiology procedures per year.

• Provide data entry into approved operating systems for the radiologist to review and sign off.
• Verifies the accuracy of data entered into operating systems.
• Communicates with Radiologists all pertinent information in reference to patient data input completion.
• Collect, organize and catalog data for physician review into appropriate ing systems.
• Compliance with all HIPAA confidentiality standards
• Adhering to all ethical, legal and confidentiality requirements for preparing medical documents for review.
• Duties as assigned
• Minimum High School Diploma
• Excellent computers skills with the ability to learn new systems and software
• Knowledge of Medical terminology
• Medical Background such as CMA, Medical Transcriptionist or scribe
• Strong attention to detail, record-keeping, and ing skills
• Experience within the Diagnostic Radiology setting highly preferred
