The Department of Psychology is looking to recruit a Student Administrator for the purpose of maternity cover. This post is part of the Departmental Academic Support Team, which provides comprehensive administrative services to the Department’s academic programmes (Undergraduate, Masters and PhD) and to its academic and student community.

Role

Applicants are invited for post of Student Administrator within the Department of Psychology. The post-holder will report to the Student and Academic Services Manager and will be required to provide a full administrative support service to the Department to ensure the smooth running of all its academic programmes. The role includes being the first point of contact for enquiries from staff, students and visitors, and to assist the relevant academics in the successful running of the programmes.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications needed

You should have administrative experience, together with strong IT and organisational skills. In this interesting and varied role, we are looking for an excellent communicator who enjoys being part of a friendly, proactive team. Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to work with minimum supervision are also essential.

This is a fixed term contract until September 2022.
