Join one of the best modern universities in Australia as a Management Cadet. The University of Wollongong’s Management Cadetship is a fixed term, 5 year contract aimed at Year 12 school leavers.

Cadets rotate through a number of areas across the University over the five year term including Human Resources, Student and Accommodation Services, and Governance. Cadets also undertake a relevant undergraduate degree such as a Bachelor of Information Technology or Bachelor of Business majoring in areas such as Economics, International Business, Marketing, Finance, Accounting and Management. Other areas of study may be acceptable if they are considered compatible with the work placements of the Cadetship. For the final 18 months of the program, each Cadet undertakes a specialised placement relating to their degree major which prepares the Cadet for gaining employment in their chosen field.

Responsibilities of the management cadet vary according to the work unit to which they are assigned. All duties are outlined and agreed upon at the commencement of each placement.
