• Fixed Term, part time appointment (until April 2023, 30 hours per week, Tuesday to Saturday)
• Level 3/4: $57,664 – $73,508 (pro-rata) + 17% Superannuation
• Penalty rates apply for Weekends and Public Holidays

The Early Start Discovery Space seeks a personable, dynamic and well-organised Educator to support the development and facilitation of interactive learning opportunities for children and families. You will deliver guided activities to members and visitors on a daily basis and facilitate educational visits with a range of school groups (Early Childhood, Primary and High School) during school terms.
Duties of this role include assisting in opening and closing the venue, setting/resetting our experiences, meeting and briefing groups and general cleaning of the space. In this role you will also be required to assist with general administration and coordinator duties throughout the Discovery Space. You will also work with other Educators to support the development of educational programs including daily activities, school excursions, outreach programs and online programs after operational hours on some days.
This position delivers superior service to our visitors and is integral to the continuation of programs at Early Start.
There may be an opportunity to perform higher duties in this position on a Friday and Saturday which will be discussed at the interview stage.
