Director, Information Management & Technology Services

Information Management & Technology Services (IMTS) is the University’s central information management and technology service provider for core infrastructure and services and is responsible for the development and management of information and communications technology resources in response to research, teaching and business requirements.
The Director will lead the planning, creation, implementation, security and maintenance of a the University’s information systems and processes. The role will set the strategic direction for the business’ information systems, identifying and recommending new technologies, managing information programming, conducting feasibility studies, running systems analyses and approving the use of hardware and software services. The Director will engage and support stakeholders across UOW in both a strategic and tactical capacity, aligning and delivering investments in information technology with UOW’s Strategic and Operational Plans.
The successful candidate will have strong people leadership capability, a record of influencing and engagement of stakeholders, experience in a highly dynamic environment, and have a proven record of aligning multiple diverse requirements into a single plan.
