This is an excellent opportunity to join us as an Academic Success Officer at any of our UWTSD campuses in either England or Wales on a full time (term time only) basis

THE ROLE

As part of the Academic Success strategy, UWTSD is establishing a new academic success team, working across its campuses, to enable the progress and engagement of students and provide support and positive interventions to ensure that they achieve positive educational outcomes and reach their potential.

ABOUT YOU

To be considered as an Academic Success Officer, you will need:

• Experience of working within a coaching framework to identify goals, barriers and actions
• Ability to analyse and interpret data including working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly intermediate Excel.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience of case management and review or equivalent
• Ability to demonstrate respect for a diverse range of people and recognises the importance of building sound working relationships
• Understanding of the need for appropriate confidentiality and information sharing in line with safeguarding and GDPR responsibilities.

It would also be beneficial if you had:

• Previous experience in supporting students with complex needs in a higher education context
• Previous experience in using online central systems and packages.
• Proficiency in Welsh for one of the posts offered
