The Financial Services Unit (FSU) provides financial advice and services to all University Faculties and Divisions, UTS Management and external stakeholders, including Department of Education, Science and Training (DEST).
We are seeking to appoint a Finance Partner to deliver advanced financial expertise within a matrix reporting relationship.
About the Role
The Finance Partner builds and maintains strong business relationships between Finance and the Provost Division and Advancement Unit through the provision of sound financial information, insight, strategic advice and operational excellence that facilitates informed strategic decision making that delivers on the UTS strategy
About You
Key to success in this role will be your strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to develop and maintain effective stakeholder relationships within the University.
With examples from your previous work experience, please outline, in a separate document, how you meet the following five key selection criteria points below:
1. A CA or CPA qualification and full membership of an internationally recognised professional accounting body, or an equivalent combination of experience and/or education/training.
2. Relevant experience in financial management and/or financial analysis and preparation of budgets and forecasts.
3. Experience in delivering consistent, high quality service to stakeholders
4. Proven strong financial, analytical and commercial skills, including well developed problem solving and decision-making capabilities
5. Highly developed skills in analysing and reporting on information extracted from multiple source systems.

Remuneration
Base Salary Range: $123,007 to $128,864 pa (HEW 9)
This role attracts 17% superannuation (pension) in addition to the base salary
