The UTS Marketing & Communications Unit (MCU) is recruiting for a Finance and Administration Officer to take responsibility for assisting with the management of the unit’s financial and accounting responsibilities, and the administration of university-wide marketing services.

MCU reports to the Chief Operating Officer (Operations Division) and is responsible for effectively promoting and enhancing the image of the university through the development and implementation of marketing plans, media and public relations activities, internal communication and corporate identity strategy.

If successful in applying for this role, you will be responsible for:

• Day-to-day management of MCU’s financial and accounting responsibilities
• Digital Marketing and Creative Services Team (CST) administration support
• Media & Stakeholder Management
• Supporting the Executive Assistant and Office Administrator

• Excellent Excel pivot tables & insightful chart making is important along with general knowledge of Word
• Some knowledge or a general understanding of media buying and delivery
• A proven record in providing excellent client service
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and prioritise activities and resources

Remuneration

Base Salary Range: $85,781 to $92,879 pa (HEW 6)

This role attracts 17% superannuation (pension) in addition to the base salary.
