University of Sussex Hiring for Holocaust Education Outreach Officer Job at Brighton, England Full Time

We are seeking to appoint a skilled and enthusiastic individual with demonstrable experience in Holocaust Education to lead the Weidenfeld Institute of Jewish Studies Holocaust Education Programme.

Preference will be given to a person with interest and experience in dealing with the challenges of Holocaust education and commemoration in the digital age.

The person appointed will report to the Director of the Weidenfeld Institute and work closely with colleagues in the Weidenfeld Institute, in the School of Media, Art and Humanities and with the University’s Special Collections department which is situated in the Keep.

The post holder will be responsible for the delivery and development of inclusive learning materials in order to improve the teaching of the Holocaust in schools, and will be expected to work closely with teachers and to maintain close contact with other practitioners in the area of Holocaust education.
