University of Sunderland Hiring for Academic Tutors and Markers – Computer Science Job at Sunderland, North East England, England Full Time

The School of Computer Science prides itself on being responsive, adaptive, innovative and accessible to all, with supportive staff who our students tell us truly make a difference to their experience at this life changing university.

We have just opened the doors of our new Digital Incubator which is to be home to students honing entrepreneurial skills as freelance digital developers. We have also recently benefitted from a large investment in new equipment and facilities to support our staff and students.

We are looking to expand our team of Academic Tutors and Markers, working in all aspects of Computer Science, including:

• Artificial Intelligence
• Cyber Security
• Networking
• Web and Mobile Development
• Data Science
• Business Technology

We welcome applications from suitably qualified candidates with relevant academic credentials. Tutors with recent practitioner experience to add to their excellent academic credentials are particularly welcome to apply. Markers should possess a minimum of a masters or equivalent professional qualification in a relevant discipline. Experience of marking in higher education would also be desirable but is not essential.
