We are looking for an intelligent and creative marketing professional to join our Recruitment Marketing team in Admissions to help us target the best and brightest students from all over the world and admit them to St Andrews.

To be right for this role you should be someone who wants to make a big impact on the way we work and the results we produce. You should be an ambitious marketer who can energise people to think creatively, as well as be able to work with colleagues across marketing, creative, digital and our recruitment teams.

As part of our small and agile team, you will be involved in all aspects of marketing across admissions and student recruitment, with a large focus on delivering targeted campaigns to increase application numbers from target demographics (including postgraduate, in Scotland, and international markets) and uptake of offers.

Key responsibilities:

• Create interesting and engaging campaigns which showcase the people of St Andrews to drive interest and action from key target audiences.
• Understand what makes people tick and be able to bring that into the stories we tell.
• Work closely with our regional managers, campaign leads and academics to use our data, people and budgets to make impactful campaigns.
• Work with colleagues across the University on coordinating information and communications to prospective students and offer holders.
• Support our recruitment colleagues by making a range of recruitment materials across digital, print and physical channels.

• has significant marketing experience (it is not essential for it to be in the education sector).
• can create interesting stories which resonate with their audience.
• has a passion for making interesting and successful marketing campaigns – someone who can see a good story, help craft it to engage the right audience, and knows how to tell if a campaign is working.
• can run targeted online advertising campaigns
• has experience using CRM/marketing systems and using them to their full potential.
• gets what it means to work to KPIs and understands measuring different measures of success.
• is ambitious, with a keen eye for campaign performance.
• enjoys working across a range of projects and audiences.
• takes an audience-first approach in all the work they do.
• loves to take on new challenges and innovate, bringing the wider team along with them.
