USQ’s Student Success and Wellbeing team is committed to enhancing the student experience for all USQ students. This is done through inclusive professional practice and collaboration across the Schools, Faculties and Divisions of the University. We know a combination of academic and social integration is essential to the successful transition to University and contributes to a rewarding University experience. As a result, the Health and Wellness team promotes positive wellbeing across the University community providing a range of services to support physical and psychological wellbeing.
A rewarding opportunity has become available for an innovative and empathic professional to provide a suite of services to support students’ mental health literacy and personal safety, within USQ’s Health and Wellness Service. You will be a member of a multidisciplinary team of allied health professionals (including psychologists, counsellors and human services practitioners) who are passionate about their work with our students living in the college residences, and understand the issues that may present from such an environment.
Working collaboratively with the Residential Colleges team, you will be integral in supporting students to facilitate their tertiary progress. This includes support, advice and training to the Collegiate team and College staff, as well as services to residents such as experiential programs, mental health triage and risk assessment, referral and monitoring.

Salary: Total remuneration range $104,868 to $115,960 pa (includes salary range of $88,609.04 to $97,980 pa, employer super contributions of 17% and annual leave loading)
