What you’ll do

Based at our Ipswich campus, you will:

• develop and deliver specific courses in Paramedicine;
• oversee student clinical placements throughout the program;
• contribute to the ongoing development of other Paramedicine initiatives such as postgraduate programs;
• engage in research that provides the opportunity to collaborate with others, seeks to attract funding to support research and advances knowledge; and
• engage with industry and professional bodies to ensure ongoing relevance of awards, access to suitable student experiences and facilitation of partnerships in applied research.

What you will need to succeed in this role

• A Doctoral degree in an area relevant to Paramedicine;
• Registration (or eligibility to register) with the Paramedicine Board of Australia;
• Demonstrated capacity to successfully teach the Paramedicine discipline incorporating contemporary approaches to pedagogy;
• Demonstrated capacity to lead community, industry and professional development initiatives relevant to Paramedicine; and
• Demonstrated ability to successfully conduct research and to generate external research grants and high-quality refereed publications.
