University of Southampton Hiring for Faculty Education Manager Job at Southampton, England Full Time

Are you interested in an exciting opportunity to support the implementation of educational strategies at Faculty-level? We are looking for an experienced higher education professional to join our Quality, Standards and Accreditation team.

About the role:

As the Faculty Education Manager you will work in partnership with Associate Deans (Education), Deputy Heads of School (Education) as well as other academic and professional service colleagues to support and enhance educational provision and the student experience across two faculties. You will manage and support activities such as (but not limited to):

• quality assurance and monitoring processes of educational developments and delivery
• analysis of education-related management information to inform faculty education strategy and decision making
• development and review of educational provision including collaborative provision and trans-national education
• projects that support the improvement of educational provision
• accreditation application and review

Working alongside colleagues in the Office of the Academic Registrar you will establish best practice in delivering administrative and governance processes that support the student experience and identify areas for improvement and support the implementation of changes where appropriate.

About you:

We’re looking for a candidate with an excellent understanding of the current policy and regulatory context in higher education in England and significant experience of quality assurance and monitoring of education.

You will be committed to developing relationships with key academic colleagues and have effective team working, communication, interpersonal and excellent organisational and planning skills. You will be highly motivated in managing a complex range of activities and adept at managing a busy and diverse workload. You must be solution-focussed with the ability to think creatively and a commitment to continual enhancement.

There will be opportunities to build on your expert knowledge of higher education and to engage with external networks.
