Reporting directly to the Associate Vice President for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, the Director of Diversity Education and Inclusive Excellence develops, plans, and executes educational programming for UofSC faculty and staff that promotes understanding of and engagement with issues related to diversity and bias prevention, addresses emerging areas of need, and connects emerging institutional initiatives to national best practices in diversity, equity, and inclusion. The Director interfaces with key leaders at UofSC including the President’s Cabinet and other key stakeholders serving as a strategic thought leader who builds, maintains, and promotes resources (tools, training opportunities, etc.) to increase the campus community’s capacity to enhance their competence with matters of inclusivity and strengthen their ability to respect and engage across differences. Through comprehensive campus engagement, including the assessment of training needs through systematic evaluation and informal discussions, the Director supports the university’s commitment to fostering an inclusive learning and working environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $94,315.00 – $174,495.00 per year
