Summary:

Psychology for someone with a passion for teaching University students looking to make an impact on undergraduate
learning and development. If you have an undergraduate degree in Psychology, either have, or are close to completing, a PhD
in a relevant subject area, or equivalent experience, and previous experience of teaching at undergraduate and/or
postgraduate level then we would be keen to hear from you. The successful applicant will undertake high-quality teaching and
supervision of students on our British Psychological Society accredited undergraduate degree and post-graduate (MSc)
programmes and make a collegial contribution to the academic life of the department by taking part in academic governance
and citizenship.
The Department of Psychology at The University of Sheffield is among the largest in the UK and has a vibrant research and

Education World Subject Rankings 2021). At undergraduate level, we offer a Single Honours BSc in Psychology. At
postgraduate level, we offer a range of MSc courses (including Psychological Research with Advanced Statistics and with Data
Science, Cognitive and Computational Neuroscience, Human Neuroimaging and Cognitive Neuroscience and Systems
Neuroscience), applied clinical training courses and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. We have over 150 students registered
for higher degrees by research, and over 200 postgraduate taught students.
