Summary:
Are you passionate about supporting students and ensuring they have the best student experience? If so, you could be the
ideal candidate for our new role within Student Experience & Support.
We are looking for someone who is experienced in providing support to a diverse student body and is interested in using
their own lived experiences, skills and knowledge to enable our students to get the best experience whilst at University.
The Student Support and Welfare Officer will be the first point of contact for students and staff queries of a specialist or
complex nature. The post holder will be responsible for overseeing the enquiry and case management of all areas of the
Student Support and Welfare Team and will work with colleagues to develop an efficient and streamlined offer. In addition,
the post holder will be responsible for caseload management and administration of the Risk Assessment Panel (RAP) and
work closely with the appropriate Student Support & Welfare Manager (Lead for Sexual Violence, Abuse, Harrassment &
Discrimination) to educate, embed pathways and provide specialist support for students who have experienced any form of
discrimination such as harassment, abuse, bullying, or sexual violence.
