Summary:
As the Postgraduate Programme Administration & Student Recruitment Assistant, you will report to the Student Recruitment
& Research Administration Team Leader providing administration support across the School postgraduate research (PGR)
student support, School events such as open days, symposiums, and graduation.
We are looking for someone with enthusiasm and commitment to supporting our staff and students, with a can-do attitude
and passionate about supporting students and ensuring that they have the best experience possible. You will have well
developed analytical/problem solving skills and experience in using your initiative to find appropriate solutions whilst working
within a fast-paced environment.
This role will require an adaptable, enthusiastic, and forward-thinking approach with excellent communication and
organisational skills, strong IT skills and an ability to work collaboratively with administrative and academic staff to provide an
excellent level of service to students. We are looking for candidates who will have a real commitment to the role and work
methodically with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. You will have the ability to prioritise your own workload and
have a good track record of being able to work on your own initiative. Previous relevant administrative experience preferably
within a higher educational or similar environment is also essential.
