We are looking for a Student Wellbeing Officer to join our vibrant Student Support Team. The purpose of Wellbeing is to support student retention, achievement and satisfaction by providing a range of services to support student wellbeing. Student Support Services support students who are experiencing life and wellbeing challenges and enables those students to develop skills that will enable them to manage those challenges and allow them to participate fully in academic life and meet their full potential. Wellbeing Services encompasses student advice and support services, counselling and mental health intervention.

Student Wellbeing Officers support students in overcoming life and wellbeing barriers to academic achievement and supports them in developing skills which will contribute to success in higher education and into employment.

The post of Student Wellbeing Officer is responsible for the day-to-day provision of complex case management, liaising with colleagues from academic and professional service departments, contributing to risk assessments and providing guidance and support to students.
