Henley Business School, is looking to hire a Director of Talent and Careers, an exciting and challenging role, you will be responsible for managing an outstanding team of 15, who deliver exceptional career support to our students in the UK and overseas. You and the team will build strong links with employer organisations, partnering with colleagues and corporate employers you will help position our students as one of the go to talent pools for employers globally.

Director of Talent and Careers Role and Responsibilities

• Lead on the development and implementation of strategies to ensure that Henley Business School is providing world leading employability development, to maintain and improve Henley’s position as a leading business school nationally and globally
• Partnering with employers promoting Henley Business School as a centre of recruitment solutions for corporate and organisations to support students to access the job market
• Work with the marketing team on the communication of employability activities to prospective students and Alumni on the engagement with training, mentoring and other events for current students
• Manage a high performing team to deliver a comprehensive Talent and Career professional programme which will include executive level coaching, professional level learning and development, which will be globally and nationally facing

Director of Talent and Careers requirements

• Experience of delivering the employability agenda in HE or taking responsibility for corporate graduate level recruitment, both at a senior level, while delivering priorities to budget in a complex organisation
• Developing and maintaining relationships with employer organisations in both public and private sectors
• Ability to lead, motivate, further develop and line manage a high performing team
• Outstanding communication and influencing skills, including the ability to persuade and negotiate using data and narrative
• Experience of leading on and delivering complex change projects

Minimum of £61,819. Competitive rate based on skills and experience.
