Position Summary:
The assistant director of alumni and parent relations is
responsible for planning and implementing initiatives to engage
alumni in lifelong relationships with the University of Puget
Sound. The assistant director leads and manages a class-based
engagement strategy, class community committee structure in
partnership with the Office of Annual Giving, and plans and
executive signature event of Summer Reunion Weekend. The assistant
director provides staff leadership and support to the Alumni
Council’s various affinity groups, and leads engagement efforts for
a variety of affinities (identity-based communities and shared
interest-based communities).

Budget Responsibilities
Responsible for managing the reunion program budget (5060), working
with the alumni and parent relations office manager to obtain
approval for and to process related expenses. Conduct monthly
budget audits to monitor progress toward revenue and expense
goals.
Qualifications:
Compensation and Benefits: The anticipated pay for
this position is $20.92 – $23.04 DOE. Decisions about starting
salaries are made based on the extent and relatedness of the
candidate’s education and experience and on internal equity and
market considerations.
