We have an exciting and unique opportunity to join the Apprenticeships Team at the University of Oxford, where you will support the recruitment of new entrant apprentices and trainees and the career development of existing employees through apprenticeships.
This is a varied and rewarding role for you to be involved in the development and growth of Apprenticeships across the University following the implementation of the Apprenticeship strategy in 2021. You will join a small, friendly fast-paced recruitment team and play a key role in supporting the development of the Apprentice Recruitment Assistant who joined the team at the end of last year. Our office is based in Jericho, but the role is flexible with the ability to work from home and the office.
You will be involved in the full life cycle of apprentices from recruitment to completion of their apprenticeships, ensuring a positive candidate and learner experience from the first point of contact. You will be responsible for designing and implementing recruitment marketing strategies, ensuring that our roles are accessible to all, targeting disadvantaged areas and monitoring the diversity of applicants to drive forward diversity and inclusion initiatives.
You will support the development of our social media accounts and web pages, produce communications and marketing materials relevant to apprenticeships and be responsible for attending, designing and managing events including the annual apprenticeships awards and outreach events.
You will have recruitment experience, which you may have gained in an in-house role, or through experience in early careers recruitment, student recruitment or outreach. You will be interested and have experience in social media platforms and/or marketing, either through your own interests or from experience in a previous role. You will have an interest in apprenticeships and a genuine belief that apprenticeships can change people’s lives.
