We are seeking an experienced and dedicated IT Officer to manage all aspects of IT across a number of faculties. This includes deploying and managing physical and virtual servers and supporting the end-user device estates. This role will be part of the Humanities IT team and will report to the Head of Humanities IT team, who is based in the Radcliffe Humanities building on Woodstock Road.
The successful applicant will require knowledge, experience and technical competence across a broad range of computing areas. This will include aspects of user administration, hardware and software installation and support, maintenance and upgrades of all faculty systems including the Active Directory domains, web, storage, and security. This post will play a crucial role within the Humanities IT team. This is an excellent opportunity to use and strengthen your IT skills and knowledge in a range of different contexts. This role also includes line management of at least one other team member. Training and support via the University’s IT Services will be available, and you will be part of a large community of IT staff across the collegiate University.
This role is permanent and full-time.
