University of Oxford Hiring for Finance Manager Job at Oxford, England Full Time

We are seeking a Finance Manager to join our finance team, at the Nuffield Department of Medicine. This role will instigate effective relationships across the wider University and with partner organisations, providing expert opinion and advice and contributing to University wide goals, sharing best practice and keep abreast of changing environment and policy.
You will have a dual reporting line to the Departmental Finance Manager and Unit Business Manager, and be responsible for the accuracy of monthly management accounts including annual budgets and quarterly forecasts. You will work closely with NDM Finance, HR and Grant teams to ensure pay and research is correctly stated. You will ensure strong financial controls are maintained which will be evidenced through monthly compliance tasks.
It is essential that you are currently studying towards a relevant CCAB or CIMA professional accountancy qualification (successfully completed foundation level or equivalent). You will also have previous experience of financial IT systems e.g. Oracle, SAP, in a large accounting environment. You will possess excellent communication skills including financial report writing, highlighting key insights and emerging trends.
