The Financial Management team are looking to recruit a new Senior Finance Assistant to join the Shared Service Team within Professional Services. It is an exciting new Level 3 position within the Administrative, Professional and Managerial family. The opportunity focuses on Catering Finance and reports into the Shared Service Assistant Finance Manager. The role is open to candidates working in finance with accounting experience.

Typical activities that this post holder will be involved in include;

• Completion of bank reconciliation
• Completion of point of sale till reconciliation and resolution of issues
• Working closely with the Catering operational team connecting finance with operations
• Understanding the financial impact of operational decisions and highlighting any issues
• Driving and monitoring purchase order compliance

The ideal candidate;

• Is studying towards a CCAB qualification or is able to demonstrate equivalent work experience
• Is comfortable manipulating large data sets in Excel
• Is keen to challenge processes and drive efficiencies
• Is able to work in a flexible and agile manner
