The Corporate Finance team are at the forefront of migrating the University of Nottingham’s key finance system to Oracle Fusion. We want you to join us on the journey.
What you will be doing
You will spend your first few months with our financial accountants learning our current systems and reporting processes. After that, you will be using your previous experience with Oracle to coach the team to run financial reports and verify their accuracy.
Along the way you’ll suggest improvements to our current ways of analysing and presenting data.
Who you are
Who we are
We are the Corporate Finance team. We look after month-end, regulatory reporting, cash management and the setup of the university’s current finance system, Unit4 Business World.
Other teams rely on us for financial data. We take pride in understanding their needs then meeting their deadlines and exceeding their expectations. We want you to help us continue improving.
What’s in it for you
The university offers 30 days holiday allowance (plus additional university closure days), a competitive pension scheme, and onsite childcare on our award-winning campus, amongst other benefits. We offer hybrid working with a blend of home and office working.
You will be encouraged to take the short courses the university offers and there will be potential to support accounting studies and other qualifications that are relevant to your role.
