Applications are invited for one fellowship post based in the Medical Education Centre at Queens Medical Centre, University of Nottingham.
The main focus of this role is to contribute to the BMBS Medicine Clinical Course assessments. This will involve writing single best answer MCQ examinations and clinical OSCE stations, in conjunction with specialty leads. Piloting OSCE stations, standard setting and participating in the organisation, delivery of the clinical examinations and student remediation. The post holder will also have the opportunity to teach clinical skills to medical students.
Applicants must be fully registered doctors who have completed foundation training and hold a current licence to practise with the GMC. The post holder is also required to have satisfactory enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
Appointee will be expected to complete a fully funded MMedSci or begin a P/T MPhil in medical education. Within their job plan, the post holder will be expected to participate in clinical practice and CPD for revalidation purposes (up to maximum of two sessions per week).
This post is full-time (38.5 hours per week) and is offered on a fixed-term contract for a period of two years. Job share arrangements may be considered.
