University of Nottingham Hiring for Head of Education and Student Experience Job at Nottingham, England Full Time

The Faculty of Science at the University of Nottingham is looking to appoint a Head of Education and Student Experience (ESE) to lead a team of staff who support ESE at Faculty-level, to oversee the matrix management of a team of ESE administrators based in schools, and to contribute to the delivery and development of the Faculty’s ESE strategy.

You will work closely with the Faculty’s Associate Pro-Vice Chancellor for ESE in providing leadership and management to ensure successful delivery of the ESE elements of the Faculty’s Strategic Plan. You will contribute to ESE strategy and operation planning; provide curriculum oversight; monitor, review and develop processes to continually improve the service provided to both students and staff. You will work to improve student experience, identifying issues to be addressed. You will make use of evidence-based best practice, develop initiatives and manage projects to completion. You will ensure communication and relationship management with students, academics and professional services teams.

We are looking for a highly organised and confident individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enthusiasm and energy to join the Faculty of Science team. You will understand priorities, make practical suggestions and implement processes to improve the working of the team, prioritising your own workload. You will have had experience of working in an educational setting, including working with and influencing teaching staff. You will be familiar with the regulatory framework within which Higher Education operates. You will be able to demonstrate commitment to continuous improvement practices. You will have an honours degree and a relevant track record of experience.
