As the Learning and Development Specialist, you will create and facilitate programs and frameworks that support staff in their own professional development. You will join a newly re-energised team to focus on building the capability of the university workforce to meet the strategic goal of performance excellence.
This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in making a difference to the culture and skill level of staff where you can leverage off subject matter experts across the University. This role will work closely with the Senior Learning and Development Specialist and key stakeholders across the professional and academic workforces to understand the learning needs of teams and individuals so they can develop learning programs to meet both organisational and individual objectives.
We have two 12 month fixed-term, full-time positions available, which will be based at Callaghan campus.

The Learning and Development Specialist will primarily work in the learning and development stream within the Capability and Development team under the guidance of the Senior Learning and Development Specialist. This role sits within the HRS unit within the Resources Division. HRS provides a broad range of direct HR services across all areas of the University.
This role works closely with other HR teams including Talent Acquisition, HR Advisory Support, Remuneration and Benefits, Organisational Development, Wellbeing, Health & Safety and Employee Relations.
Conditions & Benefits
HEW Level 7 – $91,259 to $102,667 plus 17% superannuation
