The School of Biomedical Sciences & Pharmacy has a very large and diverse teaching operation,

providing teaching in anatomy, biochemistry, physiology, pharmacology, microbiology, immunology and pharmacy in the College of Health, Medicine and Wellbeing. This role aims to support bringing innovation and development in education by providing practical support to our academic staff across the school. The School of Biomedical Sciences & Pharmacy is one of the University’s most research-intensive schools and is currently ranked very high in the university in terms of external research funding.

You will work closely with our academic and professional staff to integrate innovative teaching and assessment practices into courses. As a Project Manager, you will play a leading role in ensuring the quality of , learning resources and assessments for both online and face to face delivery modes.. Leading and participating as an active team member in the delivery and quality assurance of the school’s courses, you will provide specialist advice and practical support in the best use of technology for face to face and online teaching and assessment.

This full-time ongoing position will be located at the Callaghan Campus.

How will you inspire us?

As a self-starter with the drive and interpersonal skills to lead projects, you will apply your knowledge of educational technology and of teaching to produce creative solutions in online and face to face university education. You will have knowledge of teaching and learning developments in the higher education or relevant sectors, and the creative drive to investigate new technologies. An ability to manage projects along with experience in designing and implementing reliable assessment strategies is highly desirable.

The remuneration is from $89,470.00 to $100,654.00 plus 17% superannuation with UniSuper

• A degree with at least four years subsequent relevant work experience; or extensive experience and management expertise in technical or educational fields; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
• Demonstrated understanding of the principles and practice of effective tertiary teaching and assessment, including current and future academic technologies for blended and fully online delivery and assessment.
• Experience in the design and implementation of online teaching and learning resources to ensure effective learning outcomes
• Understanding and expertise in course design, storytelling and communication principles and techniques to ensure delivery of course content and activities in an effective and engaging way.
• Experience with a variety of Learning Management Systems
