Continuing, Full-time (2 positions available)

• $81,234 – $89,291 per annum (Level 6)
• Plus 17% employer superannuation. Salary packaging options are available.
• Applicants must have ongoing full-time work rights at the time of applying (UNE will not provide sponsorship for this position)

About the Directorate*

The People and Culture Directorate is responsible for developing and implementing strategies which UNE focus on enabling our people to create an engaging and high performing work culture, that delivers an outstanding higher education experience to our students.

Working in partnership with Faculties and Directorates, People and Culture delivers a range of services across the University such as Recruitment; Workplace Relations; Health and Safety; Payroll, Benefits, and Support; Organisational Development; and Workforce Planning and Change Management.

About the role*

As a Recruitment Consultant you will manage end-to-end recruitment processes and projects for your client areas and provide specialist advice and support services to Hiring Managers through applicant search, selection, onboarding and the induction of new employees. This position will also be involved in administering the University’s Academic Promotions Process held each year to reward and recognise academic staff who have demonstrated outstanding and sustained achievement.

About you*

Your previous experience in Human Resources and in particular recruitment and position classification is desirable, but not essential. You will have excellent communication, interpersonal and client services skills and will have a capacity to learn new systems quickly.
