The Division of Brand, Partnerships and Business Development is responsible for developing Brand UNE and driving income growth strategy through student recruitment (domestic and international), business partnerships and corporate fund raising and philanthropy.

The Business Unit*

The role of International Strategy is to meet the University¿s objectives in relation to the recruitment and admission of UNE’s international students.

The primary focus of International Strategy is to increase international student enrolments (on and offshore); develop UNE’s Pathways and Advanced Standing relationships; manage visa risk and agent relationships; enhance collaboration with Faculties to build their international programs; and ensure compliance with legislative and peak body requirements relevant to the recruitment and admission of international students.

About the role*

The International Recruitment Officer role is located in the International Strategy directorate and reports to the Director, International Strategy. Working closely with the Regional Manager positions, the role is responsible for effectively promoting UNE’s courses and services to prospective international students, their parents, education agents, institutional partners and other stakeholders in line with the University’s recruitment strategies and targets.

This role requires a degree with relevant experience or an equivalent combination. The successful candidate must have an understanding of the Australian international education context; have effective interpersonal and communication skills within a culturally diverse context; experience in liaising with stakeholders and the ability to develop and maintain constructive relationships with a wide range of people from different cultures and levels while representing the University.
