ROLE of the POSITION�
The Instructional Designer (ID) works to develop a campus culture that embraces digital teaching and learning by supporting faculty in online and hybrid course development and revision. The ID uses a growth mindset (Dweck, 2007) to help the faculty function as members of a supportive course development team. The ID has strong pedagogical knowledge and online education experience that promote best practices in instructional design. The ID supports faculty through the course design and development stages; builds OE courses in accordance with design standards and best practices; and brings research-based perspectives to the art and science of instructional design. The ID collaborates with the instructional art and instructional applications programming staff.�

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS�
This position requires a Master’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university, 1 – 3 years’ experience in instructional design, and 5+ years’ experience working in higher education. Credentials must be obtained prior to the start of employment.�
