About the Role
The Timetabling Officer contributes to consolidating the Faculty’s capability for planning, building, and implementing the timetable and space management schedule for academic programs and other activities.

The primary focus of the Timetabling and Room Bookings team is on space usage optimisation, supporting academic staff and promoting positive student experience. The role contributes to the development and implementation of processes to effectively integrate the specific timetabling and scheduling requirements of the Faculty with University processes and protocols including reconciling the Faculty’s timetabling system (ASIMUT) with broader University systems.

In a typical week at work, you may:

• Provide scheduling support for timetabling and scheduled assessments
• Contribute to academic subject timetabling, class registration configuration, ad hoc and external bookings in consultation with academic staff and professional staff within the Faculty
• Contribute to systems and processes to enable effective evaluation of changes in the curriculum design or changes to infrastructure that impact timetabling

About You
Your strong organisation and multi-tasking skills will suit you well in this role, allowing you to complete competing tasks to varied deadlines, producing high quality results and with a high level of attention to detail. Your interpersonal and communication skills will allow you to work as an effective part of a team, developing strong working relationships with both academic and professional colleagues.

Ideally, you will further have:

• A degree or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
• A working knowledge of the ASIMUT, Syllabus Plus, and Allocate Plus systems
• Technical proficiency in general computing and the use of databases and the ability to learn and implement software systems and solutions
