About Student and Scholarly Services
Student and Scholarly Services provides student administration and services from recruitment and point of enquiry to graduation. This team also delivers wellbeing and scholarly services to students and staff.

About the Role
As the Student Recruitment Coordinator (International Onshore), you will play a key role working in a team to create and execute plans and activities that aim to maximise the University’s onshore international student recruitment and enrolment outcomes. You will also contribute to recruiting prospective domestic students from regions within Victoria, and additional states in the wider Onshore Recruitment team. Effective stakeholder engagement is fundamental to your role as you will service a range of external client and stakeholder groups including the management of the University’s education agent network onshore within Australia. You will also supervise a full-time staff member with similar portfolios and duties.

Responsibilities include:

• Create, execute, and manage onshore recruitment plans to maximise international onshore and domestic prospective student enrolments from around Australia and oversee the University’s onshore education agent network in Australia
• Coordinate events and program for prospective undergraduates to optimise their participation and engagement with the University in targeted activities
• Monitor the market, government regulations and competitor activities in the international education sector, and provide market intelligence on key market segments
• Represent the University in recruitment activities in a dedicated state/region in Australia and optimise recruitment outcomes from these regions/cohorts and evaluate recruitment strategies against KPIs for each.

About You
Along with your experience in external stakeholder management, you will bring your high-level communication and interpersonal skills, and a keen interest in working with international students and their stakeholders. In addition, you will also have high level planning and organisational skills and an ability to co-ordinate complex events, manage competing programs and deadlines from inception to delivery.

You will also have:

• Completion of a degree in a relevant discipline or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or training
• Proven experience and success in student recruitment and marketing with the ability to develop and deliver insight-led campaigns
• Understanding and experience working with online and digital platforms to engage effectively with remote audiences
• Experience utilising student administration/enrolment systems and CRM systems to manage external client relationships
• Knowledge of the Australian international higher education sector and an interest in motivating young people on the further tertiary study opportunities.
