About The Role
This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Strategic Projects Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of healthcare and well-being at the Melbourne School of Health Sciences (MSHS). As a key member of the leadership team responsible for implementing the School’s ambitious Strategic Plan 2023 – 2033, you will have the chance to work closely with esteemed academics, foster innovation, and contribute to the transformation of communities’ health outcomes. This role offers a unique blend of strategic planning, team leadership, and networking with hospital partners, providing an exciting development path for the right candidate. Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead and implement the MSHS strategic plan, aligning it with Faculty business plans and reviews.
- Provide strategic advice to the Head of School, develop policies, and foster partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Oversee the MSHS Governance Framework, provide executive support, and present data analysis to various committees.
- Draft executive documents, s, and briefing notes while ensuring alignment with MDHS Values.
Who We Are Looking For
You are a skilled workshop coordinator and communicator, adept at engaging stakeholders in a large, complex organisation and external partners. Your capacity for high-level stakeholder engagement spans academics, professional staff, and students, fostering effective collaboration and communication.
You will also have:
- Relevant post-graduate qualifications and industry/business development or project management experience in a complex organisation (higher education sector preferred) or equivalent.
- Extensive experience in writing papers, proposals, and s for senior leadership and delivering complex projects.
- Strong ability to conceptualise and communicate multidisciplinary opportunities, identify compelling value propositions, and engage stakeholders effectively.
- Demonstrated organisational capability and analytical problem-solving skills, managing competing demands and deadlines without compromising quality.
