About The Role

This is an exceptional opportunity for an innovative and dynamic individual to join our Research Support & Evaluation team as the Innovation and Enterprise Project Officer. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-level support to the Faculty Innovation and Enterprise portfolio, fostering a collaborative environment that thrives on initiative and excellent service. Working closely with esteemed academic and professional staff, you will be at the forefront of driving research capability and impact in a dynamic higher education landscape. Your responsibilities will include:

• Coordinate and deliver innovation and enterprise seminars, workshops, and education programs.
• Facilitate Faculty research costing and pricing waiver requests, ensuring compliance with policy documentation and University requirements.
• Monitor and on the implementation of the Faculty Innovation Fund, collaborating with relevant finance teams.
• Support innovation and enterprise initiatives, providing expertise throughout the funding lifecycle, with a focus on research commercialisation and pathways to innovation.

Who We Are Looking For

Your excellent communication skills enable you to foster productive relationships and collaborate seamlessly. Experience in planning and executing events, along with a proactive team spirit, allows you to contribute constructively to the team’s success.

You will also have:

• A tertiary qualification with subsequent relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
• Experience in administering research funding schemes in accordance with sponsor requirements, including experience providing pre-award and post-award support to researchers.
• Demonstrated high level skills with Microsoft Office 365 and an interest in learning and developing innovative approaches to working with new technologies and applications.
