About The Role
This offers an excellent opportunity for data analysts to progress into roles resembling business partners, working in close collaboration with various departments to enhance the decision-making process. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a dedicated portfolio of stakeholders, understanding their needs, and executing their requirements autonomously. Your responsibilities will include leading and driving initiatives focused on providing data analysis, utilising your expertise to foster strong relationships and position yourself as a trusted advisor.

Your New Team – Operational Performance Group (OPG), University Decision Support
The Operational Performance Group delivers functions that facilitate the design, evaluation, and improvement of services across the University, and business partnering services to Chancellery.
University Decision Support (UDS) is responsible for providing UoM with enterprise level ing and analytical capability. The Analytics Team within UDS leverage key student and corporate data to create analyses and solutions to support decision making. This includes student, performance, workforce and cost information, from the data platform and related sources. Statistical, predictive, and algorithmic methods are applied to business problems and opportunities for decision makers, to test hypotheses, generate insights, and make recommendations for decision support.
