The University of Lincoln is one of the most dynamic young universities in the country. Situated in the centre of a beautiful cathedral city, our core mission is to combine outstanding, high-impact research and professional practice with a superb student experience and the highest quality civic engagement. Our academics and students engage collaboratively and creatively with some of the key issues of the age, generating insights and creative outputs that push the boundaries of knowledge and practice. Connecting the local to the global, we inspire and support our students to become flexible, self-directed, empathetic citizens of the world, who are prepared for working life today and for what it might become.
The School of Education is a growing and ambitious School with an internationally diverse postgraduate student body. The School is seeking to enhance its role as a research and professional practice hub with local and global connections through our Lincolnshire Learning Lab.
Following significant growth in student numbers on our MA Education programme, and the validation of our new undergraduate BSc Education and Digital Learning programme, the School of Education is seeking to appoint two Lecturers on a Teaching and Research profile. The successful candidates will contribute to teaching across a range of undergraduate and postgraduate taught programmes within the School. We welcome applications from specialists in digital pedagogies/technologies as well as those with knowledge/expertise relating to any of our MA Education portfolio. Both posts offer excellent opportunities for the successful candidates to commence or further develop their research career and join a friendly and thriving department that encompasses a broad range of educational research and professional practice interests. Successful candidates will be supported to become active contributors to our research activity and contribute to enhancing the School’s profile through grant applications and research publications.
