Software Developer (SQL)

Are you interested in utilising your SQL development knowledge and skills in a diverse development function? Are you an enthusiastic and driven individual with a desire to be part of an Application Development team delivering high quality IT services to support a range of business critical systems?

Using a combination of different technologies you will be part of a team delivering and supporting services underpinning a range of business critical projects. You will focus on the redevelopment of new and existing key core services used by a range of business stakeholders, working closely with business change and IT change professionals to ensure systems are fit for purpose and meet strategic and user requirements.

You will utilise SQL skills, knowledge and experience gained through working in a development role to design, develop and maintain applications across a range of technologies. You will work effectively, aligned to the development lifecycle ensuring effective communication and consultation with stakeholders and customers in designing and implementing fit for purpose solutions.

Working in a complex environment, your work as a SQL Developer will involve documenting your work in line with standard operating procedures to ensure alignment with industry best practice, IT standards and regulatory compliance. As an experienced member of the team you will be responsible for supporting, training, coaching and mentoring trainee developers
