University of Huddersfield Hiring for CPT Finance Administrator Job at Huddersfield, England Full Time

Open ended, 18.5 hours per week

(Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday morning)

Are you a well organised and enthusiastic finance administrator looking for an exciting new opportunity? Do you enjoy working as part of a busy and fast paced finance office?

If you have recent experience of using financial management/accounting in a work based situation and are educated to degree level in a relevant subject, this could be an ideal opportunity for you.

The Centre for Precision Technologies, within The School of Computing and Engineering is seeking an experienced Finance Administrator with experience and particular knowledge of financial and management accounting processes to work as part of the School Research Finance Team.

The role is varied and interesting and you will be expected to have substantial office experience and be fully conversant with office practice, organisational management and pro-active forward planning.

The post holder will also be expected to demonstrate good communication skills and be able to communicate effectively with a wide range of people. They would be able to work independently as well as part of a team and deliver on deadlines effectively.

Demonstrable experience of working in an HE Environment, an understanding of external funding, costing and bidding procedures and relevant financial systems would also be desirable.
