Location: College Lane campus, Hatfield
Following on from the launch of the newly formed Student Administration Service at the University of Hertfordshire, we are looking for a motivated and proactive administrator to work on Student Planning administration activities for Health Placements, related to courses offered at the University. You will be working in one our three ‘AskHerts’ Hubs, at our College Lane campus.
Main duties and responsibilities
Your work will include finding, organising and scheduling student placements for students in the School of Health and Social Work, and the School of Life and Medical Sciences. As such, this role will be working alongside students and academic staff, as well as NHS trusts, hospitals and private voluntary organisations.

Skill and experience required
This is an interesting and varied position with the opportunity to contribute to new working practices in one of our newly formed Hubs. You will need to bring a willingness to be flexible in time and in workload to support effective team working, and to facilitate seamless customer service to our academic colleagues.
The role requires accuracy, attention to detail, and you will have excellent communications skills in working effectively with key individuals.
You will have proven administrative experience, good organisational and IT skills, and the ability to use initiative and a flexible approach in delivering to deadline.
Qualifications required
You will be educated with A-levels or equivalent or proven professional work experience.
