Compliance, Governance and Risk (University Cases Team)
This full-time position is available on a permanent basis, based primarily at Streatham campus but working across our campuses in Exeter and Cornwall.
Summary of the role/position
This position offers an exciting opportunity for those wishing to develop their career in casework, particularly in relation to the investigation of cases under the Student Complaints, Sexual Misconduct, Fitness to Practise and Disciplinary procedures. We are looking for a committed and resilient individual who has the experience and skills to join our busy team.
The successful role holder will provide a high level of support and advice to colleagues in Compliance, Governance and Risk as well as colleagues within the wider University. You will bring an up to date knowledge of regulatory requirements and relevant law with respect to casework (e.g. Consumer Rights Act (CRA), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Equality Act 2010, Office of the Independent Adjudicator (OIA), the Quality Assurance Agency Quality Code).
The successful applicant for this post will have experience of working flexibly both as part of a team and of working independently to deliver an outstanding student experience. You will have excellent organisational and communication skills, and ideally have experience of casework in this or a similar compliance related background.
