This new part-time (0.8 FTE) post is available from 1 April 2022 on a fixed term basis until 1 September 2023. This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – some time on campus and some from home.

Summary of the role

This is an exciting new role that will give the post holder an opportunity to drive forward improvements and make a difference. The role will sit within the Finance Department but face onto the Universities Bachelor of Medicine programme with a particular focus on the financial framework, processes and systems that support the BA student’s medical placements in primary and secondary care settings. This role will give you the opportunity to immerse yourself in the business to facilitate an in depth review of current processes. During this time you will be required to identify and implement possible solutions that will improve efficiency as well as simplify and add transparency for stakeholders. You will have accounting experience as well as experience of problem solving complex issues, communicating ideas solutions and viewpoints to senior managers, managing end to end projects and dealing with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
