Open Ended Full Time 35 hrs per week
We are looking for a customer-focused Senior HR Assistant, you will contribute to the ongoing transformation of HR within the University and develop your generalist HR skills.
The Opportunity:
There are a number of opportunities thanks to a growing requirement in the team. You will support the development and implementation of new systems, establishing new ways of working as we embed a new operating model. Our transformation brings challenge and exciting opportunity to join our team and play your part in shaping this journey. You will administer end to end lifecycle HR processes, inputting and maintaining data in the HR systems, support the on-boarding of new staff by creating contracts of employment for new start, transfers and contract amendments or extensions and prepare and issue documentation in line with current legislation, all operational activities within the Shared Service model.
Your skills and attributes for success:
strong experience of delivering a range of HR Services within a fast-paced environment in at least one of the following: HR administration, recruitment, payroll and/or employee life-cycle transactions functions
excellent customer service skills with proven experience of delivering a professional, high quality, customer focused service
the ability to organise time effectively to manage your own workload and priorities to achieve deadlines
competent oral and written communication skills (to produce reports, correspondence, minutes, agendas, documentation) with experience in the use of IT software e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint
accuracy and attention to detail with experience of handling confidential information
