Student recruitment and admission is increasingly challenging with a complex funding picture, ambitions to widen participation locally and globally and rising levels of global competition. The College is at the forefront of addressing those challenges and has an ambitious 10-year plan for student population growth on and off campus. The College currently admits approximately 9500 students each year joining a total student population of more than 22,800 students representing more than 95 nationalities. The College Office Admissions Team comprises an Undergraduate (UG) and a Postgraduate (PG) Admissions Service with both services committed to delivering an excellent applicant experience. The UG Admissions Service is responsible for the annual processing of more than 41,000 applications, making over 14,500 offers and admission of just under 4000 UG students to more than 420 programmes over the 12 Schools in the College.
The successful candidate for the post of Director of Undergraduate Admissions will be an experienced and committed professional administrator with significant experience of working in higher education admissions, proven leadership skills and knowledge and understanding of the key issues affecting student admissions, both in the national and the global context. You will have experience of leading successful change projects as well as a flexible and innovative approach to problem solving and the ability to deliver key objectives under pressure.
