We are seeking a new Student Money Advice and Rights Team Adviser to support our provision of support for international students. You will act as first point of contact for applicants and students who are looking to take out US government and/or private loans, Canadian Student Loans, post-9/11 GI Bill educational funding from the US Department of Veterans Affairs and any other loans and/or financial support offered to international applicants and students, in order to fund their studies in the UK.

The postholder will need to be passionate about supporting students and delivering an outstanding service to all stakeholders.

The post-holder will form part of an integrated, student-focused support and advisory team which provides high-quality professional support and guidance to students, professional services and academic colleagues. The post-holder will be responsible for developing a holistic provision of support to assist them at every stage of their HE journey (access, success and employability). This includes co-ordinating the support for individual cases with colleagues across the institution and external agencies. The post-holder is expected to be flexible in order to respond to the needs of the Directorate depending on changing student requirements and the priorities of the team.

The service currently supports over 1300 students within the student community.
