CONTEXT OF THE JOB:
The Associate Director will collaborate with university colleagues
and implement strategies to engage the University of Delaware’s
alumni in meaningful ways including volunteerism and philanthropic
support of UD’s mission.
The Associate Director of Alumni Engagement manages the strategy
and execution of a full quinquennial Reunion Program including the
recruitment and leadership of ten volunteer committees. The
Associate Director is also responsible for managing alumni affinity
special interest programs and engaging these audiences through
events (in-person and virtual) The Associate Director will utilize
volunteers to assist with goal achievement as well as facilitate
interactions with Alumni and the University. The Associate Director
exercises autonomy in researching, evaluating, developing, and
executing engagement opportunities that builds a pipeline of
donors.
