Working with a number of departments across the Clinical School, you will be working in a varied role where you will be providing a professional service to deliver the best experience to our internal customers and candidates. You will be heavily involved in recruitment administration and offer advice across the full recruitment lifecycle as well as dealing with all payroll administration and guidance on general HR issues for your departments. There are regular opportunities to get involved in key projects across the HR team as well as running small training sessions on recruitment and payroll for our key internal customers. We are always looking to continually improve as a team and value team members who like to share new ideas and improve ways of working.
You will have a background in HR or recruitment and will be used to dealing with a variety of different queries. You will enjoy communicating with individuals and be the type of person who strives for a high level of quality in everything that you do. You will feel comfortable being able to plan your own workload, delegate where relevant and be happy to be a team player and contribute to the success of the team.
This is an opportunity to join a supportive team on a full time basis as well as an opportunity for hybrid working until spring 2022 and the possibility for longer term agile working beyond that. We understand the importance of wellbeing for our staff and encourage staff to look after their wellbeing in and out of work and there are plenty of opportunities to join in with the regular wellbeing events that are run at the School as part of the Clinical School Wellbeing Programme.
The team are based in the Clinical School Office which is part of the Cambridge Biomedical Campus and it’s an exciting time to join with key projects moving forward including a new Children’s Hospital, Cancer Research Hospital as well as other Global Health initiatives.
